BEAM-TM-L overview

The BEAM TM-L is Ackcio’s LoRaWAN wireless tiltmeter, built for autonomous long-range tilt and vibration monitoring. It pairs with the dedicated GW 3.6.1 gateway and offers real-time alerting, 3-axis acceleration detection and significantly longer battery life than the standard BEAM-TM.
Key advantages over BEAM-TM (Mesh):
- Longer battery life: 2 to 5 years typical
- Real-time dynamic monitoring and instant threshold alerts
- 3-axis acceleration measurement (X, Y, Z)
ImportantThe TM-L has no HPC capacitor or internal memory. If the battery is fully drained, any data not yet transmitted to the gateway will be permanently lost.

GW 3.6.1 Gateway

The TM-L requires GW 3.6.1 gateway. It is hardware-identical to GW 3.6 but includes an additional LoRa module and antenna port. LoRa antenna (blue arrow) must be connected before powering on the GW. The position of the antenna is on the left port of the GW, which is specifically meant for LoRa communication.
Mesh antenna (red arrow) is primarily meant for Mesh nodes alone. If you want to deploy a single GW for both Mesh nodes and TM-L nodes, fix both antennas. Where only TM-L nodes will be deployed, you can omit the Mesh antenna and just fix the LoRa antenna and commission accordingly.
NoticeDo not use a standard GW 3.6 for TM-L deployments. Only GW 3.6.1 supports the LoRaWAN protocol required by TM-L nodes.
